
In another major milestone for Dholera’s infrastructure growth, Western Railway has invited bids for the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) of the Sarkhej–Dholera Semi High-Speed Double Rail Line, with an estimated project value of ₹18,901.68 crore.
The upcoming corridor will significantly strengthen connectivity between Ahmedabad, Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), Dholera International Airport, and the National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal. Designed as India’s first semi-high-speed railway corridor, the project is expected to support train speeds of up to 200 km/h, making travel faster, smoother, and more efficient.
